This is a short course taught during Lent of 2024 concerning the moral and spiritual guidance of Evagrius of Pontus and John Cassian in their discussion of the Eight Thoughts: Gluttony, Fornication, Avarice, Wrath, Sadness, Acedia, Vainglory, and Pride.
