The Church Transcendent: Truth, Goodness, and Beauty in the Christian Faith is a course begun in the fall of 2026 addressing the classical “transcendentals” identified as properties that endure above the physical realm and which are essential to understanding God and reality in general. Ancient Greek philosophers Plato and Aristotle begin the discussion continued in the Church especially by St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, placing moderns in good company for the contemplation of Being, Unity, Truth, Goodness, and Beauty.
